So I finally bought my domain — vineetprasad.me — and got the site live. Felt great for about five minutes.
I set it up with Render + MongoDB + Cloudinary, all on free tiers. Everything worked… until I realised that every single time I try to log in, I have to wait ~30 seconds for the app to wake up. Every. Time.
Why didn’t Claude warn me about that upfront? Bad Claude.
So yeah, now I’m trying to migrate the whole thing to fly.io to see if that’s better. No idea how this will go, but let’s see. Part of the fun, I guess!
